What procurement asks a chauffeur supplier (and our answers)
Before a firm adds a chauffeur company to its approved supplier list, procurement asks good questions. These are the ones we hear most often, with straight answers.
Are you licensed to operate?
Yes. In London every private hire booking must be accepted by an operator licensed by Transport for London. Noble Corporate Travel holds TfL Operator Licence 010745, and a copy is available on request. Our chauffeurs hold their own TfL private hire driver licences, and every vehicle we use is licensed for private hire.
How do you vet your chauffeurs?
A TfL private hire driver licence already requires an enhanced criminal record check and a medical assessment. We add our own selection on top: driving standards, local knowledge, presentation and discretion. Many of our chauffeurs have driven our clients for years, which is the best evidence of all.
What about insurance?
Every vehicle is insured for private hire and reward, and we hold the business insurances a corporate client would expect. Certificates are part of our compliance pack and are shared during supplier due diligence.
How do you handle our data?
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (reference ZB573666) and process personal data under UK GDPR. We collect only what a journey needs, such as names, contact numbers, addresses and flight details, and our Privacy Policy explains how it is used and protected.
A good supplier review is not an obstacle. It is how a firm makes sure its people are in safe hands.
Which policies can you provide?
Terms & Conditions of Service and our Cancellation & Amendment Policy · Privacy Policy and data protection information · Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement · Sustainability & Environmental Statement · Health & safety, anti-bribery and information security policies, on request
Are you a member of a trade body?
We are members of the Licensed Private Hire Car Association (LPHCA), the trade association for licensed private hire operators.
How does billing work?
Corporate accounts are invoiced with clear references on every journey, by client, matter, department or cost centre. Rates for key journeys are agreed in advance, and any waiting time or parking is itemised. We can align vehicle types and approval rules with your travel policy.
If your team is running a supplier review, ask us for the full compliance pack. We will send everything in one go, so procurement has a single set of documents to check.
